Please read these terms and conditions before making a booking. By proceeding to pay a deposit/booking fee you agree to be bound by these conditions.
BOOKINGS
To secure your wedding date, a signed contract is required with a $200.00 booking fee at the time of booking. Your booking fee will be deducted from your final balance. The booking fee is non-refundable. This includes, but not limited to, situations where the booking and/or wedding is cancelled due to personal relationship breakdown, financial, family situations and unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to health pandemics, changes in regulations, health warnings, weather events, travel limitations, and venue closures. Please be advised that if the contract is not signed and/or the booking fee has not been paid, your wedding date is not confirmed.
WEDDING PREVIEWS
All wedding trials are held at my home studio at 8 Chappel court, Mount Annan, NSW 2567. Trials are held Tuesdays- Fridays. Limited Saturdays available, as this is a popular day for weddings.
BOOKING NUMBERS
Please consider your party numbers carefully at the time of booking, as I do not offer any reductions on packages. This includes and not limited to , situations where the booking and/or wedding has been cancelled due to personal relationship breakdown, financial, family situations, and unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to health pandemics, changes in regulations, health warnings, weather events, travel limitations, and venue closures. Please be advised that if the contract is not signed and/or the booking fee has not been paid, your wedding date is not confirmed. A minimum of 3 people is required for the Classic Romance and Highland Charm Packages, and a minimum of 4 people is required for the City Glamour and Vineyard Elegance Packages, excluding any flowergirls, junior flowergirls , mother of the bride or guests.
PACKAGE INCLUSIONS
All packages include, a phone consult, hairstyling for you and your party, bride's preview, travel to your getting ready location, hair prep instructions. Hair padding, face framing and application of your clip-in extensions (if required), veil and accessory placement, including flowers, and finishing touches.
PACKAGE EXCLUSIONS
All pricing is exclusive of a blowdry, unless that is what you have specifically booked for. Detail instructions for hair preparation will be provided. If these instructions are not followed (unless otherwise agreed upon) an additional charge for blowdrying will apply. Hair extensions - blending is not included in the packages, this should be done prior to the wedding.
TRAVEL
Travel fees are included in all packages from Mount Annan, NSW, 2567.
PARKING FEES
Parking needs to be provided onsite at the getting ready location. All hotels will need to have a space available onsite for parking and the fee will be added to the clients room bill or invoice.
EARLY CALL TIMES
A $30 per person fee will apply to all hairstyles scheduled before 5.30am.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
Wedding held on a public holiday will incur a surcharge of $30 per person, this also includes Easter Saturday.
COVID
Enforced cancellations due to government regulations (lockdown) will result in a full refund, minus the booking fee. The booking fee will be credited to a future date, if Sharon May is available for the new date, then the booking fee is forfeited as the booking fee is non-refundable.
AFTERCARE
Once hairstyling is complete, clients are responsible for maintaining their hairstyle. Avoid using of garment steamers, steam irons, or champagne sprays, and refrain from laying down or sleeping after styling. Any necessary restyling due to these activities will incur an additional fee. Clients who choose to engage in these activities do so at their own risk.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancelling or rescheduling of trials requires 48 hrs notice. Cancelling of weddings requires 120 days' notice. Failure to notify Sharon May prior to 120 days, will result in payment being due in full. Failure to pay the full balance due will result in a final letter of demand which will be emailed to the address supplied. If after seven days of the letter being sent, full payment has not been made, Sharon May will pursue legal action to retrieve those funds. All legal fees will be at the expense of the client. All booking fees are strictly non-refundable regardless of the reason given. The booking fee is to cover administration and loss of other bookings caused by allocating your booking. In the unlikely event that Sharon May Bridal Hair is unable to attend the clients booking due to sickness, injury, personal emergency or any other circumstance beyond her control, she will endeavour to find a replacement. However, finding a replacement is not guaranteed. The client will receive a full refund of the money paid, less the booking fee.
RESCHEDULE/POSTPONEMENTS
If you choose to reschedule or postpone your wedding, it maybe subject to availability and new pricing.
PHOTOGRAPHY
It is imperative that I continue to update our portfolio and demonstrate my work to future prospective brides. By signing this contract, you give confirmation for Sharon May Bridal Hair to contact the client's wedding photographer to access professional images and use them for promotional purposes. Please let Sharon May Bridal Hair know in advance if you do not wish to be photographed or are not happy with Sharon May Bridal Hair sharing images for marketing purposes.. Sharon May Bridal Hair is happy to be photographed on your wedding day however please ensure I am tagged @sharonmaybridalhairand credited for my work.
